First up for my July projects is a Project Life insert showcasing our spontaneous adventure to go "camping" to cook hotdogs and make s'mores to celebrate Father's Day. (it's also on our summer manifesto so that is a win!)
I call this For the Love of S'mores
I used an 8.5x11 enlargement of the campfire on the left (printed at home on Ilford Smooth Pearl Photo Paper.)
I used tags and paper from Saltwater. Just adore that washed out paper with the blue small text. I also adore the stamp set! Definitely a favorite, not just for summer too! I added a few embellishments like the cork arrow and wood veneer from Studio Calico. The cork letter is from their July Project Life kit (sold out.)
The right side is a Design G page protector from Becky Higgins Project Life. Definitely a favorite size of mine for inserts.
Also note that awesome polaroid photo is from Persnickety Prints. I had it printed on the linen paper and I love it! Love the washed out look and the texture it gives. You will definitely be seeing more of these in my projects. The nice thing: you choose that size and then you can crop it using their software (so it doesn't have to be on Instagram...you can just upload a photo and have it printed like this.) Also, it takes the stress out of trying to get the white borders perfect!
And finally, just wanted to point out the 4x6 photos with the white borders--I used the Simply White templates from Tracy Larsen. They are just awesome and will be using these more and more. I love finding ways to add white space to my Project Life spreads.
Okay! That's all for now! Check out my other layouts in the gallery if you want! I'll be back hopefully soon with my second layout featuring the July Elles' Studio tag kit: note that if you want to grab this kit do so quickly! June is already sold out! You can find it here.
Thanks for looking!
Your pages look amazing, Annette! I love that you can make product an important element but still have your style shine through loud and clear. Can't wait to see everything you make while you are on the CT!
